Our readers speak out
A thank you and a thought
The books I received as a Lucky Subscriber are wonderful! Thank you! It was great to receive them. I enjoy reading Teaching K-8.
I only wish you had more tips and resources for music teachers. I often pass my magazine around to my colleagues.

Mindreaders
Teaching K-8 is a super publication. Whenever I have a concern or problem, the next month some article addresses that issue. It's like you read my mind.
Thank you for your support!

Creative Connections Project
Registration has begun for the 2005 Creative Connections Project. All K-12 classrooms and schools are welcome to participate and may register online at www.ccproject.org/register.html The project links predominantly U.S. classrooms with partner classes in Latin America, China and Africa through the arts and the Internet.
Participating teachers may select a region and one or more of the following participation options: Online Travel Only, E-Mail Q & A Exchange, Art Exchange, Music Exchange or Study Partnership. All participating classes and schools interact directly with overseas partner classes by completing exchanges of student-made art, music, books or videos.
Teachers receive detailed project guidelines and e-mail support from project staff. Project staff and volunteers visit overseas schools to facilitate project exchanges.
Prices start at $25 per class and $100 per school. Teachers can participate in one of four sessions: winter session (January 10 to March 18, 2005), Spring Session (March 21 to May 27, 2005), Summer Session (June 27 through September 2, 2005) and Fall Session (October 10 to December 16, 2005).
