Our print magazine, Teaching K-8, is published eight times during the school year: August/September, October, November/December, January, February, March, April and May by Early Years, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Highlights for Children, Inc.

Teaching Pre K-8 Magazine is a professional development-based magazine for teachers in kindergarten through eighth grade that is now celebrating it's 35th year of publication. Our award-winning editorial coverage spans the curriculum and emphasizes classroom-tested ideas and strategies. Each issue of Teaching Pre K-8 features hundreds of resources including: ready-to-use activities, web links, book and product reviews, how-to articles, professional development information, on-location cover stories at schools all over the country and children's book author and illustrator interviews.
