Science/Writing Whenever there are two full moons in one month, the second one is called the "blue moon." There will be a blue moon on June 18 this year. Talk about the saying, "Once in a blue moon." What do people mean by it? Some consider this occurrence lucky or magical. Ask the students to write about blue moons.
