End of the School Year Activities

Our Year Completed
Social Studies/Math Set up a timeline for the school year that can be filled in by the students to show field trips, major units of study, as well as personal events such as moving into your class, the birth of a sibling or perhaps even a death in the family. Look back over all that you've been through together. Celebrate the challenges that have been met and all the wonderful things learned.

Wrapping Up the School Year
During this unit, students will write two letters: one to the person who will occupy their desk the following school year, and one to their next year's teacher. In Lesson Two, students use digital photos to create a personal classroom yearbook of their favorite events.

End of Year Bulletin Board Autographs
The learning goal of this activity, K-12, is for the student to leave a positive message for everyone to view and to read. Another goal is for the students to read the messages left by classmates.
