Today's Classroom Activities :

Math Awareness Month

April was first proclaimed Math Awareness Month by President Reagan in 1986 "to help encourage the study and utilization of math..."

The American Mathematical Society, the American Statistical Association, the Mathematical Association of America, and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics announce that the theme for Mathematics Awareness Month this year is Math and Voting.

In Election Math your students can learn about statistics, percentages, graphing while improving their math skills.

Your students will be astounded by just how often math appears in nature. Use the fun activities in The Nature of Math by Michael Naylor.
